PROGRESS Chapter 89: With A Flake, Please è il novantanovesimo evento della PROGRESS. Preludio ai festeggiamenti, ma come per ogni capitolo la card è comunque invitante. In un interessante settimana, che nel mondo indipendente ha visto show come RevPro Uprising 2019 e CZW Cage Of Death XXI, la PROGRESS come spesso accade si guadagna la vittoria.
PROGRESS Chapter 89: cos’è accaduto?
Dopo una rapida menzione alla vittoria di Tomi Thelwell su Chase Alexander nel Dark Match, andiamo a parlare dei risultati. Mark Andrews apre con una vittoria su Primate. Grande vittoria per la Anti-Fun Police (Chief Deputy Dunne e Los Federales Santos Jr.) contro i Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake e Zack Gibson). In un KnockOut Or Submission Match, Paul Robinson difende il PROGRESS Proteus Championship mandando KO Chris Ridgeway. Vittoria fondamentale per Cara Noir in un Two Out Of Three Falls su Ilja Dragunov. Jinny sconfigge Meiko Satomura divenendo per la seconda volta PROGRESS Women’s Champion (e meritandosi dunque l’IWOTW). Timothy Thatcher ha una vittoria di prestigio su Kassius Ohno. E nel Main Event, qualcosa che qualcuno si sarebbe aspettato, altri no, forse solo per rimandare al centesimo capitolo: in quella che sembrava la rivincita definitiva di David Starr, Eddie Dennis lo sconfigge e rimane il PROGRESS Unified World Champion.
