Lo stesso Michaels aveva precedentemente ammesso che avrebbe valutato l’offerta per un ultimo match in WWE. Aveva anche detto che comunque sgli spettatori non dovrebbero aspettarsi di vedere lo Showstopper o Mr. Wrestlemania visto che ha comunque 52 anni.
Triple H ha voluto esprimersi su questa possibilità ai microfoni di Sky Sports.
One thing I know about Shawn is that only he will know. He’s gone back and forth on this a million times I think. I think being involved with the Performance Center and being in NXT, there’s something about these young guys and girls being hungry and driven that reinvigorates everybody that goes down there. Guys who have been in the business a long time say being around that talent relights their fire and the passion you have for this when you first start. I think that’s where he is and what has made him think differently about this.
Una cosa che so di Shawn è che solo lui sa cosa farà. Penso abbia cambiato idea su questo almeno un milione di volte. Essere coinvolto con il Performance Centre ed essere ad NXT, c’è qualcosa in questi giovani ragazzi e ragazze affamati e determinati che rinvigorisce chiunque arrivi laggiù. Uomini che sono in questo business da anni dicono che essere affiancati da questi talenti riaccende in loro il fuoco e la passione di chi ha appena intrapreso questa carriera. Questo è il suo pensiero e penso abbia cambiato idea più volte sul suo futuro proprio grazie a ciò.
