CM Punk ha rivelato che gli piacerebbe interpretare The Punisher in qualche progetto cinematografico legato al Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Il wrestler di Chicago, tra pochi giorni, avrà la possibilità di lottare per il World Heavyweight Championship. In quel di SummerSlam, infatti, sfiderà Gunther in un incontro che promette spettacolo. Il Best in the World avrà la possibilità di tornare a essere campione del mondo in WWE a più di 12 anni di distanza dall’ultima volta.
Oltre al wrestling, comunque, CM Punk porta vanti dei progetti anche extra-ring e non esclude una carriera da attore una volta che deciderà di appendere gli stivaletti al chiodo.
Recentemente ospite ai microfoni di Film Seal, CM Punk ha affermato che se dovesse essere scelto dalla Marvel per un progetto cinematografico spingerebbe per interpretare il ruolo di The Punisher, ora interpretato da Jon Bernthal (che è stato anche elogiato dal wrestler stesso).
Non è, comunque, l’unico wrestler interessato al mondo dei supereroi nel cinema: qualche giorno fa, infatti, Randy Orton sui social si era candidato per interpretare Batman nel film di James Gunn.
