CM Punk è ora tra gli atleti vociferati per la partecipazione al prossimo Royal Rumble Match, secondo quanto riportato da Teddy Long e Bill Apter.
Tra alcune settimane assisteremo a Royal Rumble 2023, Premium Live Event che aprirà la Road to WrestleMania 39. Lo show si terrà all’Alamodome di San Antonio, in Texas, il giorno 28 gennaio. In occasione dell’evento tanto atteso, molti fan hanno ipotizzato diversi nomi che potrebbero tornare in WWE, come Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton o addirittura The Rock.
Tra i tanti wrestler vociferati è stato fatto anche il nome di CM Punk. L’atleta di Chicago è attualmente in fase di riabilitazione, dopo l’infortunio subito ad AEW All Out 2022.
Teddy Long e Bill Apter ipotizzano in un ritorno in WWE di CM Punk
Parlando a The Wrestling Time Machine, Teddy Long e Bill Apter hanno discusso sui possibili ritorni in WWE in occasione di Royal Rumble 2023, facendo anche il nome di CM Punk. Ecco quanto affermato dal giornalista Apter:
“Sai che penso? Ecco, il numero 28 nel Royal Rumble Match maschile. Corre tutta la rampa d’ingresso con i fan e i wrestler increduli! Oh mio Dio, è CM Punk!”
L’ex General Manager ha poi risposto: “Beh posso garantire che ciò otterrebbe una forte reazione”
