Un fan ha attirato l’attenzione di Nikki proprio su questo argomento. Il fan discuteva sul tempismo della separazione che secondo lui non coincideva con la data di pubblicazione di Total Bellas per caso. Nikki non ha lasciato passare queste dichiarazioni inosservate ed ha subito risposto:
Sad that my break up has to be ‘good’ timing for all of you. I forgot I’m not allowed to just live my life. What blows my mind is that people like you would even think I would do this for ratings or a show, don’t you think a wedding would have done a much better job?? So unreal. Done with the hate. Mi dispiace che la mia separazione avesse un così ‘buon’ tempismo per tutti voi. Dimenticavo che non posso solamente vivere la mia vita. Quello che mi infastidisce è che voi pensiate che io abbia fatto ciò solo per gli ascolti o per lo show, non pensate che un matrimonio sarebbe stato migliore? Incredibile. Ne ho abbastanza di questo odio. Sono felice di avere la Bella Army che mi ama e mi supporta in questo periodo!
