NJPW: annunciate ufficialmente le date del tour e degli show di Castle Attack, programmato per il 27 e 28 Febbraio
Lo show, intitolato Castle Attack, si svolgerà nella leggendaria Osaka-Jo Hall sabato 27 e domenica 28 febbraio e vedrà la partecipazione del meglio del roster New Japan. Questo lasso di tempo è in genere quando la NJPW collabora con la CMLL per il Fantastica Mania Tour, ma la pandemia di COVID-19 attualmente in corso ha impedito che accadesse anche quest’anno. Il formato Castle Attack è totalmente nuovo e mai proposto prima d’ora dalla federazione nipponica. L’evento avrà inizio con il classico tour d’anticipazione che si estenderà dal 14 Febbraio al 25 Febbraio e culminerà ad Osaka con le due giornate dell’evento vero e proprio. Lo show si terrà solo 4 giorni prima dell’Anniversary Show, il 49esimo per la precisione, che si terrà al Budokan Hall il 4 Marzo.

Castle Attack prenderà il posto del tradizionale New Japan Road Tour che precede l’anniversario, dopo Wrestle Kingdom 15, la New Japan Pro Wrestling ha già un folto programma con New Year Dash il 6 Gennaio, New Beginning in Nagoya (30 Gennaio) ed Hiroshima (11 e 12 Febbraio). Il 4 Febbraio inoltre la NJPW sarà impegnata nello show, in collaborazione con la AJPW, Giant Baba Memorial Anniversary Show alla Korakuen Hall.
