Nella puntata post-Crown Jewel, nella sorpresa generale, The Visionary è stato tradito da Bron Breakker e “Big” Bronson Reed, i quali hanno brutalmente attaccato il loro leader.
Visto quanto successo a Seth Rollins, la cintura è stata dichiarata vacante a RAW e verrà riassegnata a Saturday Night’s Main Event, dove sarà contesa tra CM Punk e il vincitore di una Battle Royal.
