Casino Ladder Match: Rey Fènix verrà rimpiazzato. Il membro dei Lucha Brothers non parteciperà a Double Or Nothing a causa di un infortunio.
Il Casino Ladder Match sarà senza dubbio uno dei match principali del prossimo pay-per-view della All Elite Wrestling, Double Or Nothing, che si disputerà tra poche ore. L’incontro darà la possibilità al vincitore di sfruttare una futura opportunità per l’AEW World Championship, attualmente detenuto da Jon Moxley.
Negli scorsi giorni la All Elite Wrestling, sui propri canali ufficiali, aveva annunciato che tra i partecipanti al Casino Ladder Match ci sarebbe stato Rey Fènix. Il lottatore messicano, però, non potrà partecipare all’incontro a causa di un infortunio rimediato durante l’ultima puntata di Dynamite.
L’infortunio
Nell’ultimo episodio dello show settimanale della All Elite Wrestling, Dynamite, Rey Fènix è riuscito a sconfiggere Orange Cassidy in un match tra partecipanti al Casino Ladder Match. Al termine dell’incontro il lottatore messicano si è reso protagonista di uno spettacolare volo che, però, gli sarebbe costato caro. Rey Fènix si sarebbe infatti infortunato proprio in quest’occasione.

Dopo alcuni giorni di dubbi e voci sulla partecipazione di Rey Fènix al Casino Ladder Match, nella mattinata di oggi la All Elite Wrestling ha rilasciato un comunicato ufficiale: il lottatore mascherato non sarà in grado di partecipare a Double Or Nothing ed al suo posto è stato scelto Joey Janela.
