L’annuncio, tra l’altro, è arrivato soltanto tramite una pubblicità sul WWE Network la scorsa notte. Prima di allora nessun incontro era stato annunciato con stipulazione. I fan hanno osservato questa peculiarità con negativa curiosità, visto che Extreme Rules è un pay-per-view tematico sulle stipulazioni estreme.
Extreme Rules: i motivi dei pochi match con stipulazione
Prima dell’annuncio del cambiamento di Roman Reigns vs Finn Bálor, Steve Carrier di Ringside News aveva riportato che nessuna decisione era ancora stata pienamente presa e che non c’era stata alcuna riunione del team creativo domenica. Un membro del team ha dichiarato che non bisognerebbe essere sorpresi: la federazione starebbe semplicemente decidendo a dovere le stipulazioni prima di annunciarle.
