Jake Lee è una delle stelle del roster della All Japan Pro-Wrestling e da poco ha compiuto un grande passo nella sua carriera. Infatti, durante lo scorso mese, il vecchio leader di JIN ha tradito il suo compagno Koji Iwamoto per creare un nuovo gruppo che sta scombussolando le vicende della AJPW, TOTAL ECLIPSE. La fazione è formata da Lee, tutti i vecchi membri degli Enfants Terribles tranne Ashino, e infine TAJIRI. Attualmente si sta svolgendo il Champion Carnival e Lee è uno dei più in forma.

Passiamo all’intervista, in cui Jake ci ha spiegato diverse motivazioni e ha lanciato indizi su altri traguardi che vuole raggiungere in futuro.
TSOW: Allora Jake, durante l’ultimo show del Tour delle Excite Series hai tradito il tuo amico Koji Iwamoto, perché lo hai fatto?
Jake: Gli avevo chiesto di attaccare Ashino insieme a me, ma ha rifiutato. Ho deciso, quindi, di considerarlo un nemico.
TSOW: Qual è lo scopo della tua nuova fazione?
Jake: Lo scopo è ottenere dei risultati. Ho un grande piano in mente, ma per il momento non posso ancora dire nulla. Lo scoprirete quando lo attueremo.

Jake: Vorrei al mio fianco soltanto chi la pensa come me. Per quanto riguarda Naoya, sinceramente non saprei.
TSOW: Tanti grandi match si stanno svolgendo nel Champion Carnival, anche l’ennesima battaglia col tuo più grande rivale, Kento Miyahara. Qual è il tuo rapporto con lui in questo momento?
Jake: Per il momento non ho tempo per pensare a Kento Miyahara, tutto ciò che voglio è soltanto la cintura Triple Crown.
TSOW: Durante il Champion Carnival ti sei anche già sfidato con Ashino, cosa hai provato durante il match?
Jake: Sinceramente, non provo sentimenti particolari né per lui né per il match.
TSOW: Ora la più tipica delle domande, hai un wrestler con cui sogni di lottare nel mondo del Puroresu?
Jake: Risulta difficile dirne soltanto uno.
TSOW: Il tuo stile di wrestling è fantastico, probabilmente unico. Quante volte ti alleni a settimana? in alcune storie di Instagram ti abbiamo anche visto allenarti con Francesco, pensi sia bravo?
Jake: Vado al Dojo di Ju-jitsu praticamente ogni mattina. Mi alleno con i pesi per prevenire gli infortuni e migliorare le prestazioni come wrestler. A volte faccio anche kickboxing. Se Francesco continuerà ad allenarsi come fa, diventerà sicuramente una star.
TSOW: Jake, ultima domanda. Pensi che il Professional Wrestling stia aiutando le persone durante questo difficile periodo?
Jake: Sì, penso di sì.

TSOW: So Jake, in the last Excite Series Tour show you turned your back on your friend Koji Iwamoto. Why did you do that?
Jake: I asked him to attack Ashino with me, but he refused. I decided, therefore, to consider him as an enemy.
TSOW: What is the purpose of your new faction?
Jake: The goal is to get results. I have a huge plan in mind, but i can’t say anything yet. You’il find out when we are going to implement it.
TSOW: Are you going to recruit more people in your stable? Who would you like by your side? Do you think Naoya Nomura will join you when (and if) he returns?
Jake: I’d like only those who think the same way as I do. As for Naoya, I honestly don’t know.
TSOW: So many big matches are taking place in Champion Carnival this year, including another bout with your biggest rival, Kento Miyahara. What is your relationship with him right now?
Jake: As of now, I don’t have time to think about Kento Miyahara, all I want is just the Triple Crown belt.
TSOW: During the Champion Carnival you also had a match with Ashino, what were your feelings during the fight?
Jake: Honestly, I didn’t have any particular feeling for him or for the match.
TSOW: Now the most common of questions, do you have a Dream Match in the Puroresu world?
Jake: It’s hard to say just one.
TSOW: Your wrestling style is fantastic, probably unique. How many times do you train a week? in some Instagram stories we have also seen you train with Francesco Akira, do you think he is good?
Jake: I go to the Ju-Jitsu Dojo pretty much every morning. I train with weights to prevent injuries and improve performances as a Pro-Wrestler. Sometimes I also train in kickboxing. If Francesco continues to train as he does, he will surely become a star.
TSOW: Jake, last question. Do you think Professional Wrestling is actually helping people during this difficult time?
Jake: Yes, I think so.
