Jim Ross ha parlato nel suo podcast “The Ross Report” del bizzarro episodio accaduto a The Greatest Royal Rumble.
“I had never done a show where I was going through a metal detector to get to the broadcast position and be escorted to my position by men with machine guns. That was interesting.”
“Non ho mai pertecipato ad uno show dove ho dovuto passare attraverso il metal detector per arrivare al tavolo di commento ed essere scortato alla mia posizione da uomini con mitragliatrici. È stato interessante.”
“And I’d never done that many pregame shows, to be honest with you but the half-time thing we did, intermission was for their prayer. You know they pray 5 times a day there. Officially 5 times a day and one of those time periods fell within the show. So we stopped and Booker, The King, Byron, and I did our little thing at halftime so to speak but that was during the prayer. So it was all a unique experience to say the least.”
“E non ho mai fatto così tanti spettacoli preshow, ad essere onesti ma lo spettacolo a metà show è stato fatto per la loro preghiera. Loro pregano 5 volte al giorno. Ufficialmente 5 volte al giorno e uno di quei momenti è capitato durante lo show. Ci siamo fermati e io, Booker, The King e Byron abbiamo fatto il nostro nell’intervallo per così dire ma è stato durante la preghiera. È stata un’esperienza a dir poco unica.”
Ross ha comunque precisato che si è divertito ed è stato un viaggio interessante.
