Grayson Waller ha affermato che gli sarebbe piaciuto vedere The Rock affrontare Cody Rhodes in un match titolato a WrestleMania 40.
Come sappiamo, il People’s Champ ha avuto un ruolo da protagonista durante la Road to WrestleMania 40 e anche durante l’evento stesso.
Nella Night 1 dello Showcase of the Immortals, infatti, Rocky ha fatto squadra con Roman Reigns affrontando e sconfiggendo il team composto da Cody Rhodes e Seth Rollins. Nella Night 2, invece, è intervenuto per attaccare John Cena ma, a sua volta, è stato messo KO da una Chokeslam di The Undertaker.
Nel corso di una recente intervista rilasciata al Daily Star, Grayson Waller (attuale WWE Tag Team Champion insieme ad Austin Theory) ha affermato che avrebbe voluto vedere un match diverso a WrestleMania:
“Penso che The Rock sia il più grande atleta di tutti i tempi, è una fantastica star del cinema, penso davvero che avrebbe dovuto lottare per il titolo a WrestleMania. The Rock è il migliore, amo The Rock. È lui che firma le buste paga!”
